Organising & Strengthening
Madrassa Education
Across North-East India
Tanzeemul Madarisil Islamia works to bring unity, discipline, and academic excellence to affiliated Madrassas through curriculum development, standardized examinations, and structured affiliation.
A Unified Body for Madrassa Education
Tanzeemul Madarisil Islamia (TMI) was established in 1990-91 with a singular vision — to create a structured, accountable, and academically sound framework for Islamic education in North-East India.
Operating under NEIESANT, TMI brings together Madrassas across the region under a single affiliated body, ensuring consistency in curriculum, examination standards, and institutional quality.
From affiliation of new Madrassas to conducting standardized examinations like Takmeel-e-Dawra-e-Hadis and Takmeel-e-Hifz-e-Quran, TMI serves as the backbone of organised Islamic education in the region.
Working to build a generation of scholars who combine sound Islamic knowledge with strong moral character and civic responsibility.
Message from the Secretary
It gives me great pleasure to present a few words on behalf of Tanzeemul Madarisil Islamia, a dedicated effort to organize and strengthen Madrassa education across North-East India.
Madrassas have always played a vital role in preserving the teachings of Islam and nurturing generations of scholars, Huffaz, and responsible members of society. In today's changing world, it has become even more important to ensure that Madrassa education remains well-structured, relevant, and rooted in authentic Islamic knowledge.
Tanzeemul Madarisil Islamia has been established with the aim of bringing unity, discipline, and academic excellence to Madrassas in the region. Through affiliation, curriculum development, and standardized examinations, we strive to create an educational system that combines traditional Islamic learning with essential general education.
Our goal is not only to produce scholars with sound religious knowledge but also individuals who possess strong moral character, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to contribute positively to society.
I sincerely appreciate the efforts of all those who are working for the development of Madrassa education and request continued cooperation from scholars, teachers, guardians, and well-wishers in this noble mission.
May Allah accept our efforts and guide us to serve the Deen with sincerity and dedication.
