Introduction

A review of history shows that the youth have always been the driving force behind major changes in society. Their sacrifice, perseverance, and dedication have played a crucial role in shaping civilizations and bringing about social reform. Youth possess the strength and determination to create a new awakening within society.

Even during his youth, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) participated in the formation of Hilful Fudul, an alliance that worked to promote justice and moral reform in the dark and troubled society of Arabia. This historical example demonstrates the powerful role that youth can play in building a just and ethical society.

In the modern era of globalization, however, many young people are often influenced by negative cultural trends and harmful activities. As a result, a significant portion of the Muslim youth find themselves confused and directionless. The Qur'an and Hadith give special importance to the role and responsibility of young people. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself praised the youth and emphasized their value in building a righteous society. Throughout Islamic history, youth have played a decisive role in spreading and defending Islam.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that on the Day of Judgment, when there will be no shade except the shade of Allah's Throne, seven groups of people will receive that shade. Among them will be the young person who spent his youth in the worship of Allah and in righteous deeds.

Establishment of Yuba Nadwa

Keeping this prophetic guidance in mind, the visionary scholar Hazrat Maulana Abdul Jalil Choudhury (RA) established Yuba Nadwatut Tameer in 1979 as a branch organization under Nadwatut Tameer.

The purpose of establishing this organization was to guide Muslim youth away from harmful cultural influences and immoral practices, help them attain closeness to Allah, and involve them actively in the activities of North East India Emarat e Shariah and Nadwatut Tameer.

The first Ameer e Shariat believed that the confused Muslim youth could achieve spiritual purification through proper training and guidance. By following the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and working under the guidance of senior members of the organization, they could contribute to reforming society.

The goal was to remove superstitions, injustice, and un-Islamic practices from society and revive the spirit and values of the era of the Sahaba. With this objective, the founder would take bay'ah (spiritual pledge) from the youth and guide them toward a disciplined Islamic way of life.

The second Ameer e Shariat, Allama Tayebur Rahman Barbhuiya, also continued this tradition by accepting bay'ah from the youth and guiding them in the same path established by the founder.

Since its establishment, the workers and members of Yuba Nadwa have been actively working at the central, provincial, district, and regional levels, striving to fulfill the noble mission of the organization.
